Emergency meeting of NATO-Ukraine Commission underway

The NATO-Ukraine Commission has kicked off its emergency meeting in the Belgian capital, Brussels, Report informs, citing the Alliance.
On February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the recognition of two breakaway republics in the territory of Ukraine's Donbas in his address to the nation. The Russian leader signed decrees in this regard.
Western countries, including Turkiye and Georgia, have condemned Russia's move as contrary to international law.
A vast majority of the UN members, including Azerbaijan, recognize the Crimean peninsula and Donbas as part of Ukraine.
