Daily increase in coronavirus cases exceeds 180,000 in Russia

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 180,071 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.

The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 12,810,118.

To date, a total of 335,414 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 661 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 10,569,271.

Currently, there are over 1,905,000 active cases in the country.

More than 394.4 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 5.75 million lives, though unable to cope with 313.19 million patients, who managed to recover.
