COVID incidence remains over 25,000 in Russia

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 25,018 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.

The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,958,133.

To date, a total of 148,419 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 764 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 5,341,231.

More than 190.8 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 4.1 million lives, though unable to cope with 173.87 million patients, who managed to recover.
