Turkmengas State Concern will sign a contract with China’s CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited (CCDC) to complete the construction of three gas wells of special complexity at Turkmenistan’s Galkynysh field.
Report informs that the construction of these wells was previously started by Gulf Oil & Gas FZE (UAE) specialists but not fully completed. The Chinese contractor undertakes to complete and commission them in 2.5 years.
Payment will be made through the supply of natural gas to China, Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrahamov said at a government meeting, chaired by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov via videoconference.
