Borrell: EU has prepared a package of sanctions against Russia

A package of EU sanctions against Russia is ready, it will be presented if the need arises.

Report informs, citing TASS that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said Thursday ahead of the EU-Africa summit.

"We still believe in the diplomatic process. And we will focus all our efforts on diplomatic activities. On the other hand, we have already prepared a full package of sanctions.... This is a very tough package," Borrell said and added that he would present it as soon as the need arises.
