Several organizations and public activists representing Azerbaijanis in Georgia have appealed to country's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
Report's local bureau informs that the authors of the appeal asked to lift the curfew in Georgia on the Novruz holiday.
The appeal reads that people mostly celebrate the holiday, visit each other, and light bonfires in the evening. So, it is proposed to lift the curfew for residents to observe the festive traditions without violating the law.
The appeal has today been submitted to the state administration.
In November last year, Georgia banned the movement of pedestrians and vehicles from 09.00 pm until 05.00 am amid the pandemic.
