Ayaz Safarov arrested for 22 days by court decision in Russia's Yekaterinburg

The third defendant in the case, detained on suspicion of involvement in the events that occurred in Russia's Yekaterinburg in the early 2000s, Ayaz Safarov, has been arrested by court decision, Report informs.

Just like Mazahir and Akif Safarov, the court imposed a preventive measure in the form of detention for 22 days.

As seen in the video footage published by Yekaterinburg media from the courtroom, bruises are visible on Ayaz Safarov's face.

Safarov also noted that he doesn't plead guilty.
