Yerevan dismisses reports on Armenia's participation in NATO exercises

Armenian service members will not take part in NATO Defender Europe -2021 exercises, Levon Ayvazyan, head of the Defense Ministry's Defense Policy Department, said in an interview with Sputnik Armenia, Report informs.
He denied reports of the local media about the participation of the Armenian military in NATO exercises. The ministry official said that all this was rumor and misinformation.
A few days ago, Russian military journalist Alexander Kharchenko announced that the Armenian military would participate in NATO's "Defender Europe 2021" exercises.
The exercises will include the deployment of US troops on Russia's borders.
