Armenian residents block Gyumri-Yerevan highway

Artenik village residents in the Aragatsotn region, Armenia, have closed the Gyumri-Yerevan highway in both directions, Report states, referring to Armenpress.
On May 16, the water supply to the fields of the village was cut off: "Although 40% of the villagers irrigated their fields, 60% did not. The village administration noted that the irrigation company could solve this problem. Because they blocked the water."
Villagers said they wanted to draw the attention of relevant agencies to the problem by blocking the road.
