Armenia reports 1257 new COVID-19 cases

Armenia confirmed 1257 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 187, 441, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has reached 3, 416 as 14 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. As many as 169, 727 people have recovered from the disease.
There are currently 13, 427 active coronavirus cases in the country.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
