Armenia plans to establish AI ministry

Armenia may establish a dedicated ministry for artificial intelligence, as the country's government has submitted draft amendments to the law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government."
According to Report, citing Armenian media, the proposal envisages renaming the current Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence.
The revamped ministry would be responsible for developing and implementing state policy in the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.
