AP: IAEA won't inspect Iran sites hit by US, Israeli strikes

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will not inspect Iran’s nuclear facilities that were damaged in strikes by Israel and the United States, according to Associated Press, Report informs.

The agency noted that the involved parties have not reached a final agreement, although diplomats expect one to be concluded. Under the anticipated deal, IAEA inspections would only apply to nuclear sites in the Islamic Republic that were not targeted in the attacks.

On Tuesday, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated that the agency's first team of inspectors has returned to Iran and is preparing to resume work at the country's nuclear facilities.
