Akar: Our soldiers performed duties in Afghanistan in manner worthy of their ancestors

"Our soldiers completed their tasks in a manner worthy of their ancestors," Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said.

"Besides military service, we helped our Afghan brothers in the field of education. Our soldiers performed their duties in Afghanistan in a manner worthy of their ancestors and returned home. Despite the crowds and tensions at Kabul airport, the successful evacuation demonstrated the strength of the Turkish Armed Forces," he noted.
