51 detained in Türkiye over suspected ISIS links

Fifty-one individuals suspected of having ties to the ISIS terrorist organization have been detained in Türkiye during operations carried out by the country's security forces, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on X, Report informs.
He stated that the suspects were allegedly involved in financing fake aid organizations linked to ISIS and spreading the group's propaganda via social media platforms.
The operations were conducted over the past two weeks across multiple provinces, including Adana, Adiyaman, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Balıkesir, Canakkale, Cankırı, Corum, Diyarbakir, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hakkari, Hatay, Igdir, Isparta, Istanbul, İzmir, Kirikkale, Kırsehir, Kilis, Kocaeli, Konya, Mersin, Mugla, Nevsehir, Nigde, Osmaniye, Sanlıurfa, Tekirdag, Tokat, and Zonguldak.
Yerlikaya also noted that numerous documents and digital materials related to the terrorist group were seized during the raids.
