Zelenskyy: Russia launched over 200 drones at Ukraine overnight

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia launched more than 200 strike drones at Ukrainian territory overnight, Report informs.

In a social media post, he said Russian forces also used more than 80 aerial bombs and carried out over 30 airstrikes.

The drones were shot down in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

The Ukrainian president reported that the attacks damaged energy facilities, apartment buildings, and a kindergarten. In addition, one strike hit a locomotive on the railway.

"Casualties have been reported as a result of these strikes. And unfortunately, there are fatalities," Zelensky wrote.

He also stated that Ukraine would respond to Russia's actions, emphasizing the need to end the war and achieve a sustainable ceasefire.
