Yemen's army says it is ready for offensive against Houthis

Yemen's internationally recognized government is prepared to launch what it described as a "war of liberation" against the Houthi movement, Defense Minister Taher al-Uqaili said, Report informs via Al Jazeera.

According to a statement by Yemen's Ministry of Defense, the minister urged residents of Houthi-controlled areas not to join the group's military campaign.

The statement comes amid renewed clashes between government forces and Houthi fighters in several parts of the country.
