US withdraws over half of troops from Afghanistan

The United States has removed half of its troops from Afghanistan, Report mentions, referring to RIA Novosti.
"According to the CENTCOM's assessment, we have withdrawn more than half of our troops from Afghanistan," US Central Command's statement said.
The US administration has announced that it will withdraw its troops from Afghanistan from May 1 to September 11.
