US to exclude some transactions in energy sector from sanctions against Russia

Some energy-related transactions will be excluded from US sanctions against Russia, Report informs referring to the White House.
The Treasury will issue a general license for specific transactions in the energy sector, a senior US administration official said during a special telephone briefing.
The official noted that the US and allies will continue to work to reduce the impact of sanctions on their own economies.
