US strike hits Iran-Iraq border crossing, casualties reported

The US Armed Forces carried out a strike on the area of the Shalamcheh border crossing located between Iran and Iraq, Report informs, citing the SNN agency.
SNN agency quoted an official from Iran's Khuzestan Province as saying, "A few minutes ago, the Shalamcheh border crossing area came under US rocket fire."
Iran's state broadcasting company, quoting local authorities, reported that the strike left at least two people dead and 11 injured. Despite the attack, the border crossing remains operational, with emergency assistance being provided to the wounded at the site.
