US expands list of sanctions against Russia and Belarus

The United States has expanded the list of sanctions against Russia and Belarus, Report informs citing TASS that the US Treasury said in a statement on Tuesday.
The US Treasury has included in the sanctions list a number of representatives of the Russian military leadership, a message on the website of the US department reads.
In particular, restrictions are being introduced against Russian Deputy Defense Ministers Dmitri Bulgakov, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Timur Ivanov, Alexei Krivoruchko, Nikolai Pankov, Yuri Sadovenko, Ruslan Tsalikov, and Gennady Zhidko. In addition, the list includes the general director of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, and the director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Dmitri Shugayev. Another list of sanctions includes the head of the Russian Guard, Viktor Zolotov, against whom Washington has previously imposed restrictions.
