Ukraine to receive first 12 million doses of COVID vaccine in February

Ukraine has received confirmation of the supply of 12 million doses of vaccine against COVID-19, Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said during a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky, Report informs referring to TASS.
‘Ukraine has received confirmation for the supply of 12 million doses of vaccines produced by AstraZeneca and Novavax. The deliveries will be made in February,' the minister said.
‘12 million doses is a good signal from our partners, and this will be enough to ensure vaccination within the first six months after the start of supplies,' Zelensky said.
Stepanov clarified that the delivery of vaccines is expected, which are produced under license agreements at the facilities of the Indian Serum Institute of India.
