UK chief of General Staff Nicholas Carter considers that the Taliban radical movement should get the chance to form their government and pursue the chosen political course.
Report informs, citing Russian media, that Carter said in an interview with the BBC that Britain should be patient and let the Taliban form their government to show their real intentions.
He believes that the Taliban today may turn out more moderate than they previously were.
He noted that the Taliban is not a homogenous organization but combines various tribal groupings.
