The Washington administration will allow European countries to buy weapons and other products of the US military-industrial complex for Ukraine, US President Donald Trump told the White House press pool, Report informs via TASS.
"Yes, I would [do that]," the US leader said when asked if he would give such an authorization.
Last week, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told a meeting in Brussels of the Western contact group coordinating arms deliveries to Ukraine that "the overwhelming share of lethal and non-lethal assistance" to Kyiv in the future should be provided by the Europeans, not Washington.
