As of today, Spain has abolished wearing a protective mask in the open, Report mentions, citing foreign media.
This rule, introduced in July last year, was eliminated due to a significant improvement in the pandemic situation and the expansion of vaccinations.
The 100-euro fine did not apply only to those who could not wear masks due to their health, athletes, and children under six years of age.
In addition, it is mandatory to wear a protective mask indoors, as well as in crowded places where it is impossible to maintain a social distance of 1.5 m.
