South Africa postpones vaccinating population with AstraZeneca

South African authorities have decided to postpone COVID vaccination of the population using a jab from the UK-Swedish AstraZeneca company after reports of its possible ineffectiveness against the South African strain, Healthcare Minister Zweli Mkhize said at a press conference.
"This is a temporary problem. We must postpone vaccination with AstraZeneca until we solve it," the minister noted, Report informs, referring to Agence France-Presse.
