Several drones detected at Danish military sites overnight

Several drones were spotted overnight at certain facilities of the Danish Armed Forces, Report informs, citing the military's press service.

"The Armed Forces can confirm that several unmanned aerial vehicles were detected last night over some military sites. A number of resources have been deployed. For now, the Armed Forces will not provide further comment," the statement said.

The military did not disclose the locations or the number of drones. Earlier, unidentified UAVs were reported near Air Base Karup, and earlier this week, around Skrydstrup Air Base, Holstebro barracks, as well as above several civilian airports. The origin of the launches remains unknown.

In a Thursday evening video address, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that hybrid warfare was being waged on Danish soil, claiming the attacks aimed to create an atmosphere of instability and division.
