Serbia will not be able to import Russian oil from November this year due to EU sanctions, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Report informs.
"Dozens of new problems arise every day. We consume 350 tons of black oil daily. But in winter, this figure will be seven times higher. It is necessary to find black oil because there are not enough reserves," President said.
On June 3, the Council of the European Union adopted the sixth package of sanctions against Russia. These sanctions include a ban on the transportation of oil and oil products by sea from Russia. However, the ban on sea supplies of oil has been postponed until early December, for oil products - until February 2023.
