Rubio: Trump to attend NATO summit in Ankara

US President Donald Trump will attend the NATO summit to be held in Ankara.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this during his speech in the US Congress, Report informs, citing Anadolu Agency.
Rubio noted that the upcoming meeting could be one of the most important in the alliance's history, as a number of issues need to be clarified and resolved within its framework. According to the secretary of state, NATO needs significant changes, although the US will maintain its membership.
Rubio said the United States remained in NATO as before and would be there.
The NATO summit will be held in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, on July 7-8.
