Rome detains 2 people on suspicion of spying for Russia

Two people have been detained in Rome on suspicion of spying for Russia, the La Repubblica newspaper reports referring to the corresponding investigation by the national gendarmerie of Italy and special services, Report informs.
The suspects - an Italian serviceman and a Russian citizen, allegedly an employee of the Russian embassy - were detained on March 30 night while transferring documents in exchange for a monetary reward.
