Putin: Türkiye plays important role in resolving conflict in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that Türkiye will continue to play a special role in the Ukrainian settlement, Report informs referring to Russian media.

"I am confident that Türkiye's special role in these matters will continue to be in demand," Putin said speaking at a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the SCO summit in China.

He expressed gratitude to Türkiye for its contribution to political and diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
