Pandemic threat grows in India

Over 65,022 have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in India over the past 24 hours, while 1,089 died, Report says.
So far, 2,766,626 people have contracted COVID-19 in the country, resulting in 53,014 deaths.
The number of people recovered has exceeded 2 million. At present, 676,909 active patients are being treated in medical institutions, and 8,944 patients are in critical condition.
The country ranks third in the world after the United States in the number of coronavirus infections and deaths.
