Heavy snowfall is observed in Tokyo on January 6, there is poor visibility on roads. About 60 domestic flights have been canceled, Report informs referring to TASS.
The air temperature is around zero, but in the evening and at night, according to forecasters, it can drop to minus two, and the height of the snow cover will be about 5 cm. Due to the risk of ice crust formation, drivers and pedestrians are urged to be careful.
It is snowing heavily in several other regions in eastern Japan, including Shizuoka and Kanagawa prefectures.
