Nearly 40 police officers injured during protests in Rome

As many as 38 police officers were injured during protests against coronavirus restrictions in Rome, Report informs referring to ANSA agency.
This number includes a police officer who suffered a broken rib and a forensic medical officer with a broken cheekbone.
Earlier it was reported that police officers detained 12 people in Rome who took to the streets to protest against coronavirus restrictions.
On October 9, in Rome, police used water cannons to disperse protesters against sanitary measures to combat COVID-19.
