London, Berlin, and Brussels airports cancel flights due to possible cyberattack

Airports in London, Brussels, and Berlin have experienced operational disruptions as a result of a cyberattack.
Report informs via The Guardian that passengers at London"s Heathrow Airport, as well as in Brussels and Berlin, faced another day of delays following an alleged cyberattack on flight check-in software.
Airlines were forced to switch to manual check-in procedures starting Friday evening after the suspected cyberattack affected Collins Aerospace, a company that provides check-in technology used by various airlines.
At Brussels Airport (Zaventem), 20 flights were canceled and over 80 were delayed on Sunday. The airport reported "challenging operating conditions." A statement from Brussels Airport said that as a result of a cyberattack on an external provider of check-in and boarding services, check-in operations at several European airports, including Brussels, have been severely disrupted."
Additionally, the newspaper reported that over 70 flights were delayed in Berlin. The airport"s website stated that due to a service provider system outage, there are long queues.
Earlier, Collins Aerospace confirmed it was dealing with a cyber incident.
