Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is set to resign due to his deteriorating health, Report says, citing RIA Novosti Japanese public television informed today.
According to the information, the head of the government has already made the appropriate decision. Abe himself may announce it at a special press conference later on Friday.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s recent visits to the hospital raised concern about whether he would be able to stay on as leader of the world’s third-biggest economy until the Sept. 2021 end of his term ruling party chief, and hence, premier.
