Italian President: We support all initiatives taken for peace

Italy supports all peace initiatives, Italian President Sergio Mattarella said during the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
He said that what happened in Ukraine was tragic and unacceptable:
"Italy strongly supports all initiatives and steps taken for peace. Italy will continue to support Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Council of Europe must continue to work for peace and take action in this direction."
