Israeli fighter jets have forced an Iranian flight suspected of carrying weapons to Hezbollah change its course over Syria, Report informs via The Times of Israel.
According to the newspaper, the incident took place in the early hours on December 1 when Israeli fighter jets flew up to the Iranian plane and demanded it turn around.
The Iranian plane reportedly did this a short while later.
The newspaper noted that this was not the first time when the Israeli military force Iranian planes suspected of ferrying arms to Hezbollah make U-turns over Syria or Iraq.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has not yet commented on this incident.
