Iranian Foreign Ministry: Deal with US impossible without ceasefire in Lebanon

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that a ceasefire in Lebanon remains a key condition for reaching an agreement with the United States, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said at a weekly press briefing, Report informs, citing Al Arabiya.

"We insist that a ceasefire in Lebanon is a necessary condition for any deal aimed at ending the war," Baghaei emphasized.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to strike targets in the Dahiyeh area in southern Beirut.
