Indonesian volcanic eruption death toll rises

The death toll from the eruption of the Semeru volcano on the Indonesian island of Java on December 4 has risen to 27, with more than 20 people still missing, a spokesperson for the rescue team said, Report informs via TASS.
The bodies of five more people were found this morning.
Semeru is the highest peak on the island of Java (3,676 m) and one of the 130 most active volcanoes in the country.
