Singapore won't cover COVID-19 treatment of unvaccinated patients

As of December 8, the Singapore government will not pay for treatment of COVID-19 for unvaccinated citizens, who do not want to be vaccinated, Report informs with reference to foreign media.

The treatment will cost for such patients up to $20,000, and another $3,000 if they have to be placed in an isolation center.

At the same time, the Health Ministry announced that by the end of the year, people, who received the first vaccines, will be able to receive free treatment.

In Singapore, 85% of the population is vaccinated.
