At the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), the international consulting company Boston Consulting Group (BCG) presented the latest edition of its global city ranking, Report informs.
The presentation also included the name of the host city Baku.
According to Ekaterina Shapochka, BCG representative, European cities continue to lead in terms of livability: "Zurich, London, and Oslo occupy the top three positions. However, Shanghai and Central Asian cities are rapidly closing the gap, with Shanghai currently ranked 14th. In fact, developing cities have shown the strongest progress in livability, and if this trend continues, talent flows may shift toward them."
Founded in 1963, BCG is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and provides solutions through advanced management consulting, technology and design, corporate and digital enterprises. The company has a global network of over 90 offices in 50 countries.
