Germany reports over 15,000 coronavirus cases in one day

Germany recorded 15,685 new cases of coronavirus infection and 238 COVID-related deaths over the past day, Report informs, citing the Robert Koch Institute of the Federal German Health Ministry.
According to the institute, 3,507,673 people have contracted the novel coronavirus in Germany.
To date, the country’s COVID death toll has reached 84,648.
A day earlier, the country reported 18,485 new cases and 284 deaths.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection a pandemic.
