Germany records over 18,000 COVID-19 cases in one day

The number of new coronavirus cases in Germany has surged by 18,485 people in one day. At the same time, 284 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen, according to the Robert Koch Institute, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
Germany has reported 3,491,988 coronavirus cases and 84,410 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. Over 3 million people have recovered.
