Germany records almost 1,000 COVID-related deaths per day

Germany recorded 975 COVID-related deaths and 9,705 new infection cases over the past day, Report informs citing the Robert Koch Institute, Germany's national Public Health Institute.
According to the institute, the total number of infection cases in Germany has reached 2,237,790.
COVID-19 has claimed 58,956 since the onset of the pandemic.
