France intends to strengthen sanctions against Russia, including its financial institutions’ access to the SWIFT international interbank system, Report informs via Agence France-Presse (AFP).
French President Emmanuel Macron has decided to tighten economic and financial sanctions in coordination with US and European allies at a Security and National Defense Council meeting. He also intends to take measures to freeze the financial assets of Russian officials.
