Fourteen vaccinated people in Germany test positive for new Covid variant

In Germany, nursing home residents have contracted the British strain of the virus despite the vaccination against the new Covid-19 variant, Report says, citing TASS.
According to Osnabryuk district officials, the incident took place in the commune of Belm (Lower Saxony - ed.).
They received both doses of the vaccine. However, the residents tested positive for a new strain of coronavirus.
All employees of the nursing home and their families were quarantined.
