European Council chief says new pandemics ahead

At the first working session of the G20 summit, the head of the European Council Charles Michel said the world should prepare for the next pandemics, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
The European Council chief also touched upon the topic of vaccines against coronavirus. In his opinion, the G20 countries have a moral obligation as well as a collective economic interest in the distribution of jabs around the world. He noted that it is important to support the development of pharmaceutical capacity and vaccine production in Africa, and it is also necessary to continue to help countries facing economic problems.
