EU summit to decide on the extension of sanctions against Russia

The heads of state and government of the European Union will decide to extend the economic sanctions against Russia for six months, which expire on July 31, at the summit on June 19 through videoconferencing, Report says, citing TASS.
"It is well known that restrictive measures against Russia are linked to the implementation of the Minsk agreements. The leaders will probably conclude that there is no significant progress in this process and make a political decision to extend the sanctions for another six months, " he said.
