Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed doubts about Europe's capacity to provide sustained economic support to Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia, Report informs.
In an interview with Fox News, Erdogan highlighted the financial imbalance between the two warring countries, stating that Ukraine cannot compete economically with Russia.
"If we look at the situation from a financial perspective, it's clear that Ukraine cannot match Russia economically. However, we must also consider that Europe is offering support," Erdogan said.
"But I don't believe that Europe can provide economic aid to Ukraine indefinitely," he added.
His remarks come as European nations face growing domestic pressures and economic challenges while continuing to fund Ukraine's defense and reconstruction efforts.
