Erdogan: Meeting with Trump can help end regional conflicts

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed confidence that his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump will help end regional conflicts, Report informs.
"I am confident that my meeting with President Trump will help stop the wars and conflicts in our region, as well as further strengthen bilateral cooperation," he said on social media.
Erdogan called the US President a respected colleague and friend. He added that the development of cooperation in trade, investment and the defense industry will also be discussed during the meeting at the White House.
Earlier, Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that he intends to hold talks with Erdogan in Washington on September 25.
